Frigid temperatures and winds didn't keep guests from helping Mango celebrate the renovated façade of its SoHo flagship boutique Thursday night.

International paparazzi packed the entry way hoping to get a shot of Monica Cruz, who oversees a collection for Mango with older sis Penélope.

"We're designing spring right now," said Cruz through a translator. "I'm inspired by film and vintage clothing. The spring summer line has a lot of pin-ups in it."

Ashley Olsen wearing "Mango, of course" credited the Cruz sisters for introducing her to the line. And though she didn't have any specific advice for them, she offered a tip for other aspiring designers.

"I think fashion is always something people want to get into, but you really have to commit to it," she offered.

Fashion fans like Genevieve Jones, Poppy Delevigne and model Behati Prinsloo checked out the Spanish retailer's goods, many for the first time.

"I didn't [own any of their items] before because they weren't in the States," said Dakota Johnson Griffith, who along with Julia Restoin Roitfeld features in the brand's catalogue. "But I'm fully stocked now."

Afterwards guests headed to a dinner at the Thompson LES Hotel's new Shang Restaurant, where Solange Knowles' performance had Marc Jacobs and others dancing up a storm.
